ok i read ur guys guides on isearch and tried the website and it no longer works...ive loaded in safe mode erased every file i can find that has anything to do with those 3 things (btw if u didnt know dddd.exe is a dialer for porn, i dont look at porn but i am a nudist and went to a fake nudist site on accident.) it seems the 3 are interconnected i can get rid of completely all 3 of them but the dddd.exe has a ini file (commands.ini) that comes with it and i erase that to but it has a master program that i cant find. ill erase all of the items and within 1 hour dddd.exe is back and then over nite it brings back the desktop.exe and ffisearch.exe... i cant post my hijackthis log atm cause im at school writing this but if any of u have suggestions id really like to know :dunno also when i get home ill give u the other programs that are similar to dddd.exe it loads about 5-6 other exe files (names like 4gfgfg.exe and htt.exe and op.exe, cant rememeber the others) and if u dont get rid of them they bring back dddd.exe also. ive done everything i can think of including using many spyware removers including: spybot search and destroy, adaware, spywareblaster, even norton virusremover... and a few others i cant remember off the top of my head... also ive used easycleaner 2.0 cleaned out the reg and startup of anything that looked like it had to do with them and still it comes back... any ideas anyone?

also btw another small problem ive noticed that on spybot search and destroy when i immunize the stuff it says its immunized but either after restart or next spybot search they it goes back to wat it was before...its now up to needing to immunize over 1000 things because it keeps resetting? along with spywareblaster that keeps turning off the ie blocks... over 700 now that i have to tell it to block over and over again...

another thing i forgot to mention, any of u heard of deepfreeze and freezex? (freezex is not porn stuff) well i have both of them as a evaluation deep freeze is turned off and freezex is on. freezex is suppose to stop all programs except previously authorized programs from running but it wont stop the dddd.exe from running. freezex is suppose to be unhackable/unbreakable u know what i mean but if a simple spyware can get into and tell it to allow it to run then faronics is screwed. also i assumed that desktop.html is part of desktop.exe but assuming just makes u look like a ass half the time so i thought id let u know that desktop.html also comes up on my computer after dddd.exe is run a few times... yea my computer is screwed to hell... and because of only 2-3 spywares that work together... its kind of scary sorta like in dark waters when the sharks start working together and also learn how to swim backwards...yea you get the picture
also im not a computer genious ive just done stuff like this so much that i know a little about stuff here and there im only 17 so i havnt taken any classes on this stuff dont get to technical on me :P

If you installed freezex after the dddd.exe than it might give it authorization to run since it was running at the time of installation?? Maybe I am not sure how it works. Could be just a broken program or a super sneaky bug.
ive done everything i can think of including using many spyware removers including: spybot search and destroy, adaware, spywareblaster, even norton virusremover... and a few others i cant remember off the top of my head... also ive used easycleaner 2.0
If you have tried all those and it can't get rid of those exe's than I would reinstall windows. That is much easier than wasting time trying to figuring it out.

also ive noticed that the dialer, even though its worked really well on keepin it around, isnt even made right! it comes up and then pops another window up saying please choose a country with the only option is pressing the X or pressing ok so u do that and it just closes the program... its kinda funny that they spend so long making it impossible to get rid of but dont even notice that it cant work lol

Here is my log, I cannot figure it out, I have done all of the steps you explained, but those 'trusted sites' keep returning. I notice whenever I get pop-ups there are about 3 instances of IEXPLORER open when I did not open them. It msut be using IE as some sort of host, creating hidden instances of the program to aid the pop-ups and dialer.

Have you looked at your msconfig? I am new to this thread, and this is the only forum I can find that refers to this dddd.exe. I have found that something is going on in my msconfig, more specifically, that things are showing up in my autoexec.bat tab that weren't there before. I think it may be a "blaster" worm? I am somewhat ignorant when it comes to computer problems, although this dddd.exe has given me a quick education.

Recently, I've had a very similar problem who alatedseraph has had. I get pop-up every minute or so for miraclesearch.com and some other websites. I've done a scans with HijackThis! and repeatively found the desktop.exe, ffisearch.exe, and dddd.exe files. I've run both Spybot S&D and Adaware. I've had HJT fix the entries but they come back everytime. Here is the most recent log of my system from HJT:

Theres lots i'd remove, trust me, Only problem is it gets worse after we delete stuff. Thats what makes this one so Bad.
This is the worst I've seen. Its Criminal if you ask me. Its new and there is no fix as of yet. Either wait for someone to come up with a fix or reinstall Windows. I tried to fix a log the other day, the more I fixed the worst it got. Best to leave it for now........Jim

I was able to get everything removed after basically bombading my computer with anti-spyware scans in safe mode and out of safe mode...not sure exactly which one did the trick, but I eventually got rid of everything. It seemed that Ad-Aware and Spysweeper both did nice jobs of finding stuff that others didn't.

Someone came to the board with a possible fix for it. You may want to give it a try. Try it at your own risk. If it works let us know.I posted it here on the link below............Jim

I've recently caught this crap and managed to get rid of it. Here is the procedure:
1. Physically isconnect any network connection
2. Run Windows in System Recovery Console mode (for installation instructions see Windows Help)
3. Remove system attribute from the C:\Windows\isrvs directory and any files and subdirs in it
4. Delete all files in this dir and any subdirs, then delete the dir
5. Restert Windows in safe mode and using regedit delete any keys relating to ffisearch, ffis, desktop.exe etc (search for names of files that were in isrvs dir)
6. Restart windows in normal mode and reconnect the network connection

If you can't remove a file, the residential part of the spyware is denying access to it. Sometimes the residential part is visible in the Processes window of the task manager. Close all non-critical processes and then try to delete the dll. If still you can't delete it, restart Windows in System Recovery Console mode and then delete the file (you may have to remove system attribute from it in order to do so).

I've had success renaming this file in the past. Ive never renamed it with all the dlldlldllcrap. Ive only renamed it with one dll at the end.
I count 55 dlls at the end. Try renaming it
goaway.txt.txt.txt.txt 55.txt at the end
make sure you have the same amount of .txt as there is .dll
After its renamed put it in the recycle bin, Empty Recycle Bin, Reboot and post a new log, Theres still more problems on here.........Jim
I've never tried this, Its worth a try.

I have the same exact problem. I'm not sure of how to get into System Recovery Console Mode and delete them since I'm not a computer expert. If someone can email a text file of how to access it and step by step instructions of how to get rid of this, that would be great. But for now, here is my hijackthis log file.

YOU WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING... So tell it NOT to hide ANYTHING, to show system files(those in the windows DIR) and to SHOW hidden, and to SHOW extentions..
isrvs\ KILL this WHOLE directory...

THEN kill those 2 lines in the listing..
As to SYS recovery... HIT F8 when you start, and it SHOULD have the option...but it wont do much good. It only FIXES what is ON your CD, with whats ON your system, and NOTHING NEW, that was put on later..
WE could go back a few days, maybe even a month, depending on your settings..
When done repost a new one..

This is abit funny, as WINDOWS dont want you to do this..
OPEN search, at the top..TOOLS, OPTIONS,
YOU WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING... So tell it NOT to hide ANYTHING, to show system files(those in the windows DIR) and to SHOW hidden, and to SHOW extentions..
isrvs\ KILL this WHOLE directory...
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ffis] C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\ffisearch.exe
THIs is whats in it..
It won't let me delete it.. Access denied. :censored

How you like Gunbound, cool aint it..
Oh man...I'm getting a sh*tload of popups now. Its ridiculous. It won't stop....like 10 popups every 3 secs. I don't even know what's causing it. Nothing comes up in adaware or spybot or even pestpatrol. What's going on?! =[ Most the popups have the address banners.searchingboot.com Someone help me.
1. All the programs I suggest only STOP, bots from loading 90% of the time.
2. these ARNT anti popup programs..
Are you getting these ANYPLACE you go, or just when you log onto a certain site?
repost a log..

When I leave my computer idle and come back, it goes crazy with popups. I have popup blocker. I am assuming this is an internal problem and I still have some spyware/adware in my computer. Here's a new hijack this log.
