Audio-Technica ATH-CM3...anyone have these?

I just find these babies, and they seem like a great buy. Does anyone have these earphones yet? After couple months of using standard iPod headphones, I'm finally thinking of upgrading to something of higher quality but not break the bank. So do you guys think I would notice any great sound improvement if I bought the Audio-Technica ATH-CM3? Is the sound quality noticeably different and better?

ive used a pair of ATH-CM5's and theyre almost exactly the same as the athcm3 just that theyre shorter and the plastic is black and the colours arnt matched for ipod mini....

Theyre the best earphones ive come acrosss....the bass response is a bit weak but if you use an equalizer or dont listen to much bass heavy stuff theyre easily some of the best there are....

Ill recommend them but i dont know how they compare top stock ipod earphones....although GF says theyre quite abit better (i bought a pair for her too and shes using them ....but theyre the black cm5s so im gonna buy a pair of silver cm3's to match her ipod mini and swap em with her...)

What ever you do don't buy from warehouse123. If you have a problem good luck in contacting them. Their response time is terrible. I bought these headphones and did not like them. It has been two weeks now and trying to get an RMA from warehouse 123 is almost impossible.

I just bought a pair of ATH-CM3 for my iPod mini. The sound is excellent. My comparison with the iPod original earpiece is as follows:

iPod earpiece has got a bit more Bass, but the CM3 has got a much wider range. I pick the latter anytime.

Hmm how about when you use the preset equalizer for bass boost? does it make up for the lack of bass? I personally havnt been able to test cuz my Gf plays pop on her ipod mini that sounds the same as when you remove the bass altogether....

gonna buy that pair o green ones to go with green muvo micro n200 :rotfl
