View Full Version : Can someone please help - MD Help

I have a major problem with my Sonic Stage on my computer. I have Windows XP Home Edition and I just got my MD this christmas. It is an FM MD Walkman and came with Sonic Stage Version 2.0. I only got to use it once and then it goes and f*cks up on me :eww omg: . Whenever i want to transfer a music file it errors up and say either of these 2:

1) The file cannot be transferred because Sonic Stage does not support this type of file.

or

2) There is not enough transfer points to transfer this file


Can someone please help me with this problem, I only got to use this program once and that was it and i got some songs i really want to listen to when im gonig to school or anywhere else out of the house.

Can someone please help?

Well, first thing to do would be to d/l the new version of sonicstage .
You can get it at www.connect.com
it's called connect but it's sonicstage 2.3
I would advise you to unistall sonicstage 2.0 before installing the new version.

You can look at www.minidisct.com for more info about how to make a full uninstall (go to the forums...)

Man what the f*ck now i got another problem with this new player. I downloaded the connect player that roach recommended but whenever i want to transfer a music file it always stops in the middle and says that i have a low battery, even though i put a fresh battery in. Man what the hell is wrong with this damn sonic stage. I hate this MD thing now. Can anyone help me with this problem so i can finally ENJOY my player. :eww

I'm glad everything worked out in the end :-) and I hope you'll enjoy you're MD...
btw there's a new sonicstage version, but I wouldn't recommend d/ling it since everything works for you and since it works, don't play with it too much...
sony has made alot of software mistakes in the past so... :-)
