just to be sure...did you use a paper clip and gently insert it in the small hole on the bottom right side of the face plate..and hear ir click...because then it will reset the screen and power off...did this happen?
2nd...what firmware do you have...upgrade if not 1.20

mpio is a good brand...you just have less CSR.
I also have the same problem with my Mpio FL100. The only difference is that it doesn't turn on at all. When I try to turn it on with the hold key on, it says 'hold key on'. Other than that, nothing happens. When I connect it to the computer, Windows XP says, "Found New Hardware: SAA7750 Solid State Audio Player", but I can't find any drivers for it.
Can anyone help out HD300RULEZ and I? Is there anyway to fix it myself since my warranty period is over.
Thanks in advance,

Did you just unplug the device from Windows XP without clicking the 'Safely Remove USB device' on the lower right? USB devices can be ruined if you don't follow this procedure.

Hi Kevin,
What did you do? cause I have the same problem. I don't know how to fix it.
