While I have my laptop open to replace a friend motherboard, I'm considering a new processor.
It currently has a 478-pin 1.8 P-4m on an Intel 845 family chipset (not sure whether it's an 845MP or 845MZ, both are 400mhz fsb).
Will I be able to use any processor with 400mhz fsb, socket 478, and intel 845-compatible?
Are there any others I can use, without wasting $$ on features I can't use with an 845 mobo?
