Need help with new install

I just built my first computer and need help with install I think? I have 2-74 gig raptors running raid 0 and 2- seagates im using for storage. I have loaded windows xp up and everything runs fine but when i take out the windows cd and reboot i get an error>>> no boot disk press f1 to retry. The only way my system works is if I put the windows cd back in and rebot? My Bios I have set up to look for removable first then, Hard drive then cd rom? Do I need to reload windows again?

Hmm you might have too. When you installed Windows XP in the first place, did you make sure to setup your RAID and installed the RAID controller driver? If yes, then make sure that you have the drive(s) with the OS installed on it set as the master and in the BIOS it is set to look for the correct drive first.

Make sure your Raptors were formatted and the primary logical drive.

I did indeed install the drivers. But i installed and formatted my hard drives using the windows xp disk (it i thought walked through my choices i had to format) should i have formatted them using a system disk and fdisk? i would have to make a system disk not hard to do i think?

Makes a great security machine...
Make it so it looks at FLOPPY first, for the boot...With out floppy, IT DONT WORK...
