Hi I am new an inexperianced in this technology .
I have windows Xp home Service pack 2 on my pc it is a 1.8ghtz processor and 500 mb of ram and 80 & 200 gbts of hard drive
I have installed the software for the Belkin Bluetooth onto my computer. and i have set up the Mobile phone .
The problem is that it will send data and pictures from my pc to my Mobile but it wont accept any data or photos from my phone when i try to copy a photo off my phone and it asks me where i wish to send it in object exchange and i select my pc name it says seeking ****** and then it says unable to connect!. all i want it for is to be able to upload the photo 's to the computer thats all.
yet it recogniises the phone as it has the password name that i selected for the phone and it says enabled!.
yet if you ask the phone to search for the pc by going into hands free/look for device/select/scanning it comes up with No Devices found.

on my mobile : if you go into settings/connections it has two windows one named bluetooth, and the other SYNC if you go into that one it says SYNC Partners but dont know what that is for? or whether it is to connect to my pc? if that is the case i havent a clue how to do it!.as if you click on sync partner it comes up with partner details :
name:
URL:
User Name:
Password:
Data Paths:

so dont know what that is on the mobile!.
If you go into bluetoioth it says :
Find me
Device History
setup

if you go into device history and select it it shows my pc code name as if it has bonded with it !

It is ok in conversing with another bluetooth mobile phone it will transfer AND Recieve photo's but we couldnt get it to transfer ringtones!. please Please can anyone help me ! am desperate thank YOU
P.s.
I dont want to spend anymore money buying a Motorola Bluetooth adaptor if this one will do!.

try going to belkin site and look for support for your adaptor
had similar probs, microsoft drivers took over the bluetooth, you will need to disable the microsoft enumertor in device manager/bluetooth radios
