If you're looking for a display for gaming, I wouldn't suggest an LCD. CRT's seem much better at gaming

There are some LCD displays which rock at gaming. Samsung makes a couple of them I know. I think I mentioned this in another thread, but while at Best Buy, they had an LCD monitor hooked up to an Alienware system, the LCD monitor looked great for gaming! I am pretty sure its was Samsung too.

It depends on what type of gaming you do and how much you are into it. I would visit your local computer store and ask them to hook up a demo of your favorite game, that you brought along with you, because you are prepared. If you can't see the screen jump around because of lag associated with that monitor than it would be worth getting. Not all LCD's are made the same. When they first came out it did make a difference. It is not clear if it still does. Alot your decision to keep the LCD would be based on how much the supposed problem would bother you.
