Hi all,
The passage is long, please take some time to read it. The problem began in last week. One day, when I clicked any icon to start any programs or open any folders at desktop, there were no responses. After about 20 secs, the program appeared or the folder opened as normal. However, when I tried to open folders or execute program in other active windows, it worked normally. i.e. the problem only happened at desktop. It happened everytime when i start the computer, but the problem disappeared when I connected to internet. Thus, I believed that this is the problem of my LAN card. So, I replaced it by another LAN card and try. But the case is the same. After that, I re-pluged the old LAN card to my computer and the case is worse. After entering the Window2000, my computer will reboot immediately whenever I execute any program (even Norton). The computer perform scanning process because of the abnormal reboot, and it shows a lot of error message and asked me to fix it. I choose fix problems and it said that the problems is fixed. Then I enter the Windows 2000 again. But it still reboot immediately whenever I execute any program. What can i do? Please kindly help me!!!
