Struggling Swedish-Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson said on Wednesday it would start offering its flagship P800 camera mobile phone in only three countries next week, again delaying a mass-market launch.
....
Sony Ericsson, created last October from the loss-making units of telecoms equipment maker Ericsson and consumer electronics giant Sony, had initially planned to have the P800 model in shops in the third quarter.

Speaking of which, I was never really a fan of Ericsson products, and for that matter neither was Verizon ( still didn't like Ericsson even before I worked for Verizon Wireless). Well anyways, ever since they became Sony Ericsson, I fealt a little bit more confident about the products they were producing, both in the style category and functionality category.
Anyways...that's just my views on the Company :D

Hah...I guess one reason I stated my views on SE is because for my work phone, I chose to use the SE T61c. I never thought I'd ever choose to use an Ericsson...but the SE has impressed me much.

I'm sure the RIAA appreciates your support to help pay their lawyers.

Funny you should say that as SE's T68i is being "hailed" as one of the best designed phones for quite some time. Hell, TechTV says its a must get! (I dont trust those people, they smell of cabbage...)

I always thought that Ericsson had outdated looking phones and features. I do like their latest phones, but that could be because Sony might of had some design influence over them. I think the Nokia phones are neat too, but are just too trendy.
Technology wise, the Voice Stream/T-Mobile phones appear to be the most cutting edge in design and features.

t-mobile uses GSM, so they literaly take the high-tech stuff from China and ship it over to the US - while Sprint, AT&T (which also has some GSM now), Verizon, etc... use CDMA or TDMA, which is ONLY in America, so they can only use what the companies think most Americans will buy (sturdy bricks)

What country is Ericsson based out of? Sweden I think. Normally I like swedish products, but this agreement has me very perturbed.
Lots of phone out to choose from. Steer clear of Ericsson until they nix the Sony deal. I like my Sanyo, but the service is awful out where I live.
