I'm must be one of the lucky ones. I upgraded my firmware to 4.41d, not realising that I wouldn't be able to use DMM any longer. I installed musicmatch jukebox and it recognises my HDD070 no problem, and does everything its supposed to (albeit slowly). I subsequently registered the software for its additional features.
One thing I did find out through reading the literature is that if you have a philips system you have to check the option in the connectivity tab that says "Philips USB" (or something like that). This enables it to properly recognise the player. Until I found this it didn't always recognise there was a player connected. I have found that it is best to connect the player and allow your pc to load it as an external drive, BEFORE loading the musicmatch software. Others may find this to be helpful.
I only have one major quibble with the musicmatch software (apart from its slowness in transferring files), and that is the new files do not show up on the portable media device window until after you close and reopen the window and it gets the device contents again. If you delete files then you see them being deleted from your player. Maybe this can be sorted in the future?
Thanks to all those people who suggested loading files in reverse track order to get them in the correct order. This is quite important to me as I like to have soundtracks from shows to listen to and of course they need to be in the proper order
Other than that I like my HDD070, its looks etc.
