my dad has a keyocera smartphone 7135, and has always used the palm format. He is ready to upgrade bucause his phone has a horrible battery life and no bluetooth. I want him to get the samsung i700, but he wont get it because it uses windows format. He claims that when transfering it to outlook, it wont transfer everything. Is this the way to move from palm to windows? why wont it transfer everything? we are open to suggestions for other cell phone/ pda's , the treo is antoher suggestion but i like the samsung better.

thanx in advance

SO,
the PALM he has NOW, wont transfer...OK
And you are looking into a MS based os...That SHOULD send the data in whole to his computer...

Or is it just that he wants ALL the palm, progs (that he knows) to be able to work n the other one..

I will remind you of something i TELL EVERYONE.
DO NOT rely on ANY electronic device..
NEVER keep 1 copy, In the machine...you want 3 copies..1 in the phone, one that is HARD printed(on paper) and 1 STORED away.
when your item BREAKS or is lost, and you CANT remember ALL those numbers... you will thank me.
