Burner crisis

I just bought a LITEON external DVD dual format burner. I am very new to burning and copying stuff so I am lost. I am trying to use Nero6 to make some CDs and the program works like it is burning and i will even get a message that says " burn succesfuly completed", but when i put the disc in my cd player to play it i get and error message. Someone please help. ( I am sure its not the cd player)

You might have it in "test" mode where it emulates burning but does not actually do it. You will need to go into the settings and turn that off.

Make sure you are telling it to BURN and not just copy files to a FOLDER..

mate, your problem might not be quite as simple as the previous posts.

I too have just bought a burner and it has taken me hours of research and various additional programs and I am getting there.

to assist can you let me know what file format you were burning from (mpeg, mp3 etc) and other info.

I may be able to assist and I can put you onto some good web forums that helped me.
