I had this spyware installed on my system somehow and did research to see how you could remove it.

I went to callinghome.biz and submitted a ticket asking for a removale program. I got an auto reponse that said the following:

Thank you for contacting MyPCTuneUp Support!

So I went to http://www.mypctuneup.com and downloaded their uninstall program and it looks like it removed Callinghome.biz (ceres) from my system.

I think that this is a scam going on. and that My PC Tuneup and Callinghome.biz spyware are owned by the same company. First they put the spyware on yoursystem and then you pay to use their complete uninstall software. Totally shady to me.

No its free, but I think they sell a more advanced version of it. According to their site it does the following:

"Use our FREE uninstall program to remove the following Advertising Software programs from your computer: BestOffers, BetterInternet, Ceres, LocalNRD, MSView, MultiMPP, MXTarget, OfferOptimizer, Twaintec, and some others.

Please keep in mind that MyPCTuneUp isn't a general purpose Advertising Software or Spyware removal company. It will only remove the above programs listed, in addition to a few others."
