some doo-doo
Just cleaned (praying hands) a horrific box. abetterinternet was the last major i could tell what it was piece of crap. maybe.
The box had the worst reloader'S I've run across. The new elite remover from simplytech.it helped.
A file that would reload itself and actually disappeared while I was watching! was named dikr.exe
dir list was d&s\allusers\startmenu\prog\startup
s&d found admilli service twice. removed it. strange thing is the file was a .vxd file?
it had a version of kavsvc called rkpizv.exe it wasn't in the sys32 dir. where it was supposed to be weird!
no other kav files found.
It had a few other wierd files that wouldn't let me delete them in safemode until i changed the security settings. Never had to do that.
WEW if I'm through with this monaster I'll be happy.
I'm running a follow up v-scan to make sure it's free.
If it post's anything interesting I'll let you know.
Again the elite remover was good. I dl'd the new version unzipped it to a file and smoked it in safemode. follow the directions!!!
