Should I upgrade the board' Intel chipset on ALL the operating systems?

(I have several versions of Windows, some on the same drive, some on separate drives. I'm also having a Linux distro.)

I'd like to clearify that my question is (of course) based on UPDATE of the board's chipset DRIVERS..
