Interesting site and program..as of 4am, Sunday morning, there are 5 states DOWN on the net..
IDAHO, MAINE, Texas, IOWA, washington.

and about 2 others with BAD traffic..
Texas and Arizona

Wouldnt it be NEET, if the net was REALLy connected and could reroute itself..

I cared, i was effected by this and it sucked. It was weird, couldnt access anything on http, but could get into games, listen to streamed music, get email, etc.

Seemed only port 80 was having issues.

the fun thing, is that the MAJOR companies ARENT really connected as well as they could be..
My friend who is 10 miles away..
It took 19 hops to send him EMAIL, only because his ISP was on 1 set, and I was on another.. Even if you are in the same TOWN, but on different ISP's dont mean you are connected.. you have to be routed from a MAIN hub, which is in the LARGE major cities..
we hit Salt lake, denver, Spokane, Portland, 3 cities in California, and I think reno..
There are 6 MJOR companies that handle all of it..
Then there are the SUB companies, I think about 20+
Then it gets down to Corps
Then ISP..
And I think theres only 20 or so connections between the 6 main companies...Even tho the wires run almost on top of each other in many locations.
