Major problem with MPIO HD300

Can anyone help me solve this.....

My HD300 recently "froze up". I cannot get pass the initial MPIO display. When I was able to talk to someone at Digitialway, they said I needed to get the most recent firmware.

My problem is that my windows XP system no longer recognizes my HD300. The only message I get is that I just connected a "Mass Storage Device" to my USB port. I tried to reload the drivers from MPIO and nothing works. I am not quite sure what I can do to have my computer successfully recognize the HD300. I have 2 windows XP systems, one is at SP1 and the other is at SP2.

Trying to contact digialway has been unbearable. No one responded to my emails or my voice mail and their customer service line appears to be always busy.

Does anyone have an idea?

when it freezes up...use a small paper clip to reset the unit...the reset button is located in the hole at the bottom right hand faceplate on the front of the unit.

that solves 99.9% of problems.

i reset it once in a while...small nuisance but otherwise excellent machine.

thanks for the suggestion....I have already done that and it does not recover.

i manage to finally contact customer support and got a RMA number from them and shipped it back. I hope they can fix it.
