Just come across the brand new Sanyo digital movie camera. The resolution of still pics is five megapixels. With 2-inch LCD screen, 5x optical zoom lens, and during those lonelier moments, they can be comparable with any d-cam. Since it is using SD Cards for storage, video transfer become a lot easier.

I thinki everybody would like have one. Check these out (http://www.warehouse123.com/ProductInfo.php?pid=SANDMXC5-BRN)

A 1GB SD card can record 1 hour of VGA-size video clips at 30 fps....

Very nice camera. I'm not so sure about the reliability of Sanyo as a camera manufacturer though - they're known more for fans and washing machines, no? :P

Honestly, Xacti is the only Sanyo product I remembered... :P ....its rice cookers seem no bad too.... :)

I have experienced my brother's Xacti VPC-C1 before. It is a stylish developed digital camera with its own face, and it really do something about the product names that Sanyo uses....

$600 isn't cheap. And the SD cards are $80-90.

It is a good idea thou. Hopefully they will become cheaper.

Is it C1 or C4? I like the layout of C4! Do you know how the C4 perform while taking still images at night?

This records to embedded RAM right? It doesn't use Mini-DV or any other type of removable data I don't think. Sounds pretty cool, but I really would question its usefullness.

I heard that it's using the SD card for recording. Seem a 1GB SD card can record up to 1 hour. However, I do question about the photos quality of this "all in one"

I too wonder about the quality of this, and I also have only heard of Sanyo for home appliances. I know I own something by them...I think its a mixer, but I'm not sure.

The design looks cool though.

Just notice that this camera is selling for $425 plus $49 for 1GB SD card in igearbox.com, so it's a very good deal for a All-in-one camera.

Just check out the review in steves digicans, not bad..
