i-Station PMP1000 ?

I have heard several people recommending this player and have found it for sale on several UK websites. But does anyone have one of them and can comment on it ?

There is a website with review over at www.istationhq.com but wondered if anyone else has heard of it and used it.

Yes, I've heard of it. This is a very good-looking device. In fact, I think it is one of the best-looking personal media players yet seen.

However it lacks some functions such as recording off TV. The content is lagging behind the hardware when it comes to PMPs so it may be wise to wait until downloading movies is as commonplace as downloading music files. By then the price of these gadgets will have come down and there should be less chance of having problems playing different file formats.
