I heard that HBO axed this show since it could not compete with Desperate Housewives. What a bummer, all of the reviews have been positive on it. I wonder why they didn't just move it to another time slot or day, their ratings must have been underperforming.

it had a solid rating, hbo is axing a lot of it's shows this year. Daniel Knauf moved to showtime for another series.

I would have liked to have seen FireFly make it to one of the subscription channels lke HBO and Showtime. Any word on upcoming shows they might be introducing? I was planning on subscribing to HBO, but I won't now if there are no good shows on it.
