I have been having a big problem where my computer is inundated with pop-ups and toolbar crap. It is also trying to use my aol instant messenger to send out copies of itself to other people. I seemingly "fixed" the problem using ad-aware and spybot but then it came back. This last time I booted into safe mode ran hijack this and removed things that i knew for sure weren't supposed to be there, I also used cwshredder and spywareblaster. It seems "okay" so far, but I would like someone more knowledgeable the myself to review my hijack this log, thanks in advance. :)

Well the problem did persist after I posted, but I figured out what it was. It was the Aurora/Nail.exe problem, I used a program called ABIremover.exe that got rid of it. Here is my log after cleaning my system:

Spybot and Adaware both show there be nothing at all on my system as well, so hopefully I have seen the last of this particularly nasty character.

Well I am not an expert but if the problems end up persisting...I see a couple things similar to my own hijack log and you might end up having the Project 1 virus...I really hope you don't though. As I said, I'm not an expert...fairly new to the hijackthis logs and might be staring at something really common that I just haven't ever seen before. I hope for the best :)
