I usually have it on in the background. I don't seem to watch anywhere close the amount of tv that other people do, like my parents.

I watch it at extremely rare occasions, becouse it's nothing but crap on it! 500 channels of crap, 24 hours a day!!! All the time some stupid reallity shows, mexican and russian soap-operas, quizes for idiots, and very rarely some good series or a movie. I usualy download all series i want to watch, like star gate, enterprise, south park, etc. becouse i'm not getting them on the cable TV...

I dont like watching normal shows on tv (like run of mill crap that comes out on abc, nbc, etc) I prefer watching channels like Cooking Channel, TLC, Discovery, History, etc. I find history or something I can learn from much more entertaining.

I do also...
But after I figured that I watched about 10 channels, and was being charged for 50 I WASNT watching...Sports, religion, spanish, news, and so forth...I decided it wasnt worth the $50 amonth and going UP.

Lately, I have not been watching TV that much since there is nothing on.

If I watch TV, I like LOST and Alias, but this last season I did not get into that much.

I find cable internet to be a much better investment of my time/money than cable tv.
