What would be the best computer resolution for this monitor? We would like little to no underscan and for the image to have an picture that looks square.

"Feature Benefit

* WXGA 1366 x 768 Progressive LCD Panel (aspect ratio 16:9)

• Ideal for PC & HD content (PC resolution up to 1600 x 1200; HD up to 1080i)"

So I guess 1600 x 1200 ... ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1080i

It could do 1920x1080 I am assuming ...Since it says it supports that

When you mean square, do you mean 4:3 aspect ratio? Otherwise, I would use the DVI input or if the LCD has a PC mode, switch to that and use the recommended resolution. Using the DVI input will limit your refresh rate to 60Hz I believe. I would run it at whatever resolution you think looks good. Your TV may even be plug and play compatible and Windows might have a driver for it. My Hitachi 42" plasma works that way. I am using the analog VGA input (I know, shoot me. I think all my DVI inputs are used up or I am too lazy to get a cable) and I have mine set at 1024x768 and it looks great, even at a 16:9 aspect ratio. I am using the Gateway 901X for my media center PC.

Yea we are using the DVI input. I will try to figure out how to get it into the PC mode.
