View Full Version : NEX IIe LCD display problem

hi i recently bought a NEX IIe and i noticed a problem with the display. It doesnt fill the entire screen, what actually lights up is a smaller box inside the initial window. It also cuts off letters at the bottom of the display, and has lines running vertically in different shades of blue, when lit, and different shades of black when not lit. do you have any idea how to fix this problem?

You should contact the company and see if this is normal for operation. It doesn't sound like something you could easily fix. You should still be able to exchange it. If it is apart of normal operation than exchange it for an iPod.

Unfortunately the NEX lle is not a very common product, so there is probably little help you can find.
Has the display always been this way? If not, I would call their support and ask them what is going on. If the display HAS always been like this, then It may be working the way it should....or you could have a defective product. In any case, I would see if you could exchange it.

well i emailed Frontier Labs, the company who made the device and they said that this wasnt a normal operating function. Ive seen pictures in reviews and they display fills the entire screen and doesnt cut words off at the bottom, so i believe my player is defective. I got it on Thursday, so it wasnt anything i did to it. It might have had a rough time during the shipping process, who knows. I think ill go and get it replaced. Thanks for your help guys
