I actually have a problem with the MPIO Utility. I have already transfered about 22GB of MP3 and WMA files to the player. Now I would like to sort the music by Artist/Genre and Album. When I click the MediaFile Scan button it takes 10 mins from the MPIO Utility to sort the music. Is it supposed to take that long?
Since I have over 20GB on the player I figured that maybe it would take sometime to sort them. But if I try to add 1 more album or file, the MediaScan still takes a really long time to complete, upto 10 mins. This is very inconvient when I'm on the go.
Is the Media Scan supposed to take so long?
Is there another way to have my music sorted without using the MPIO Utility? Please help! Thanks :thumb
