Ndwcab

I've been getting a couple of annoying shortcuts that keep popping up on my desktop. I think I've determined that they are because of a program called neededware.com that shows up as ndwcab in my activex controls. I've tried to remove the activex through spybot but it won't go away. Could anyone help me with this problem?
I'm computer literate, but enough to make me dangerous so bear with me.
