Hi all...I've enjoyed reading this thread alot....I do have a few questions about playlists... I use solon's hddtool to xfer tunes to my hdd120 and have it set to auto create playlists which is great for the most part. Sometimes tho I'm lazy and just dump alot of songs into one folder and xfer them over. Now my questions....
1. Can I clean up the music on the 120 somehow? move the songs from one folder to another etc...or ?

2. better yet...can I create new playlists somehow? Name them as I please? can I create on on the fly on the device? if so how do I name the playlist? If I have to make them on the pc...what do I use? How do I transfer them and will it become a .plp automatically?

3. I could really use a playlist primer.... anything written out there I haven't seen yet?

Thanks in advance for any help...

1. How do you mean clean up? All your music is on the root so you want to move it? You can do that with hddtool, there's an option to move all music to MUSIC folder.
2. You can create playlists on the player, but it's very slow, i loose my nerves after 10 songs... And player names them Playlist_001, Playlist_002 and so on...
Also Philips DMM has a tool for making playlists, but that's also slow, but you can name them as you like. It would be great if there was a app that works like hddtool, i mean you just select songs you like, press Create playlist, and that's it.
I am also searching for app for creating playlist for a long time, but nothing yet... :(

I guess my question on moving files around related to my desire to organize them so they show up in a more orderly fashion in the folders when browsing the hdd player itself... the playlist issue is still unresolved for me as well I would really like to find a pc based playlist creator that could then just drag over to the player.. I also find that when I copy songs and then browse them on the player I often can't read the name... it seems like genre info is scrolling instead of title info....I've transferred some songs using tag info and some using windows file folder structure info...results are mixed....not sure which will do the best job for me... any thoughts or peferences would be interesting to me...
