Owen Wilson…best actor?

I’ve only seen a few of his movies so far (Rushmore, Wedding Crasher, Zoolander), but I’m really turning into a fan of this guy. They interviewed him in playboy this month and I think his best line was when he compared picking up women at weddings to fishing with dynamite (unfortunately for my single, female friends he wasn’t a guest at our wedding!) From a female’s point of view, he’s a pretty smart guy with lots of great points for the single men out there. Anyone else like him, or catch this interview?

haha thats funny that you mention Playboy magazine, I just finished reading that interview myself. I think he is a good actor, but I kind of feel that he acts the same in every movie he is in. While I enjoy watching him in movies, I am not sure his acting skills are the best I have seen. But it all comes down to enjoyment and he is fun to watch!

Well I can't comment on the specific interview since i don't ready playboy...mostly since i am a girl and would rather read playgirl.

But to whether he his a good actor...I agree with Ioman. He is always doing the same type of thing, and for some reason I can't get past the whole nose thing! It distracts me when I watch stuff that he's in.

I think Luke is a better actor, but Owen is definatly more of a ladies man.

Huh that's funny...I find Owen amusing, but Luke is definitely more appealing. Loved him in Royal Tenenbaums-that's one nutty movie! :P

I hate Owen Wilson's action seems so formuliac and Steve Izzou movie which was really good but still his accent is annoying
