hi there. i suddenly noticed the other day that the clock in the bottom right of my desktop was not showing the right time. i reset it to the correct time, then noticed that it is not keeping up. after resetting it about 10 times, i ran adaware and spybot and spyware blaster. still i had no luck. it is currently running about a day behind. this is my hijack this log:

This doesnt appear to be Spyware related, Your log looks good.

I see a few missing files on your Windows messenger.

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - (no file)

I dont think they have anything to do with the clock running slow.

I did a little research on it and found this webpage.

You may want to ask this question in the Computers - Software section. Someone there may be able to help.........Jim

I don't know anything about computers but i had this problem a while back, someone told me it was my CMOS battery failing, the back up battery and it needs replacing, as a temp measure i left the computer on standby and it sorted it.
