I need some help, my computer is infected with TROJAN SPY and a security alert comes up when I start up. The problem is i went into Hijack this and noticed an item that wasn't on a previous log and deleted it.
But the alert still comes up & I also get an Internet explorer has done something illegal and will be closed message and the computer completely freezes. I have even tried to boot in safe mode but get exactly the same. HELP.

Sounds bad, Try downloading this AntiVirus program
AVG Antivirus

Run that program and try again. If you are still unable to I would reinstall Windows.
If you reinstall Windows, post a log, sometimes even after a reinstall Spyware is present. Best to kill it if its present..........Jim
