Hey Guys,

I'm really happy to see that I'm not alone. I just bought mine (HD300) 2 days ago. I was able to upgrade the firmware (1.30.04) and I also used the latest utility. I still haven't really used it much, but I noticed one very irritating behavior when navigating through the options. Let's say from the "Now Playing" section, you go several levels up, to change some settings (e.g. EQ), after just a few seconds of idle time (let's say you were still thinking what settings to use), the device goes back to the "Now Playing" section, which forces you to press on Menu several times to navigate back to where you were. This happens quite frequently. I'm not sure if this is how it's been since the device's inception, and there's really no solution, but I really hope there's a "fix", cause it makes navigating a real hell for me.

Thanks.

Quite the opposite, this is the best fix they made when releasing 1.30.4. I was really annoyed by the initial screen being the menu root.
Normal use case is that you continue playing the song where you left last time. The player must show the "Now Playing" screen immediately for example if you need to change volume or something.
Also it's more usual that you want to change the directory (album) while playing, so now it is easier while you are already in the directory that is playing.
Previously (with 1.20.3) the initial screen was main menu while music was resumed correctly from last time. It took about 5 seconds before the "Now Playing" screen was shown. Also if you wanted to change the directory, you had to navigate all the way from main menu screen down to the desired directory.

So, if you are absolutely sure this is what you want, just downgrade to 1.20.3. It's downloadable from MPIO website.

BTW, I have all my stuff in music folder organized as artist/album tree. I don't care about any playlist problems...

I'm quite happy with this 1.30.4. Only if they were able to make seamless playback, I would be thrilled about this player.
