Winfixer

Hello,

I have recently been getting popups from winfixer asking me to download it. I found that the virus is located in C:\WINDOWS named aspc.dll. When I try to delete it, it says it is being used in the background. When I go to Task Manager and look at my processes, there are none that would use winfixer. Ad-Aware, Norton and TrendMicro can't delete it. How do I get rid of it?

I don't know how to get the HiJack Log.

Download HijackThis here(link above)

Run the program

Click the Do A SystemScan and Save Logfile button

Save the logfile to desktop or a place where you can find it easily.

Copy the logfile and Paste it to the message board.........Jim
