Problems in downloading music to the FL100

I am having problems when I try to download music to the device. I have a USB2 port and most of the time during the download process the file transfer is either interrupted or does not start at all and it locks my PC. I have a Pentium IV PC with Windows XP. I have tried to re-install the software several times but that did not help. I went to their web page and I realized they had issued a fix for Windows XP and the Explorer security SP2 package, so I downloaded and installed that in my PC. Still does not work. I have sent an e-mail asking for help to their technical support and they never bothered to reply. So I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me what is wrong and how I can fix it.

At least you tried them first.
I would suggest cleaning up the system..Shutting down ALL excess programs in the background. Sounds like something is seeing a device and paging it WHILE you are trying to use the port.
Some other program wants to use that port. Be it a good or bad program I dont know.
