problem with HDD065........PLEASE HELP

the problem is that my hdd065 wont turn on, when i plug it in on the mains the backlight just flickers, ive tried philips support and there solution doesnt work,
PLEASE can someone reply and tell me what to do to fix it!!

Hi!

That is what happened to my previous HDD060. I sent it to Philips for servicing and was informed that the chassis was faulty. They subsequently replaced with a HDD070 which I used til now.

However, HDD070 is as problematic as HDD060. Take a look at my thread "So MANY flaws in Philips HDD070!"
