That XP Home can only go up to 512 ram? Is their anyway that i can make it see that i have more ram in if its true?
My PC Specs
1.7 Ghz Pentium 4
256MB PC133 RAM (Yea baby!)
Gainward Geforce 4 ti 4200 Golden Sample (Overclocking goodness baby)
And the rest is worthless unless your a crazy person, CRAZY!

Not true. I even think Windows Millenium could support more than 512mb of memory.

Agreed about XP supporting more than 512MB of Ram. Not too sure about ME, really haven't used it.

The restrictions are ON the motherboard.
I have seen Dell Mobos that wont take 128meg.
Find your doc's on your mother board. Current mobo's, Iv seen, go 2-5 gigs. WHY would the software restrict RAM.

NOW that might be the restriction for Hard drives.
Myself, I would rather have 4 smaller HD, then to rely on 1 Holding all my data.
