trouble with handycam.

Hi
I have a sony DCR-HC19E handycam which has been working fine until i tried to upload my films to the computer. I can watch them on the computer and they work fine, but when i try and copy them to the computer they will not copy with sound. I am not sure whether it is impossible to copy them with sound or whether i am doing something wrong. Any help would be appriciated.

Questions..
Which format do you have... tape, DVD, or Memory Stick Duo media.

Doing it as PLAYBACK, to the computer should get BOTH audio video, but you need at LEAST a 2ghz computer, and the right programs.
DVD format, pop it out and copy it.
Memeory stick....hmmm...I need to find the format it SAVES in..

What OS is on your computer?? win 2000 or XP, Home or pro versions..
