Good idea for a movie, terrible directing, short movie.
The movie felt very shallow, no wonder it was not in the theater for too long.

Yeah, made me sad. It's good of Robin Williams to support stuff like that, though.

Yeah, but I wonder if he is wasting his time though, its not like this movie made any money.

I haven't seen it, but from what I've heard it was first shown at a Berlin Film Festival. Apparently, it took honors for best screenplay. Sounds like an interesting premise, too. Might be that it just didn't go over well with American audiences for cultural reasons, or maybe it didn't hold together well. I am curious enough now to want to see it; I'm always interested in movies where the director tries to do something daring and different, even it if it isn't a blockbuster success. (Can't help it--I studied film for years as an undergrad.)
Robin probably liked the idea behind the movie. It's not like he needs to make tons of money.
