I recently erased all of my songs on my friend's pc. Then I brought it home to my ibook, and now it won't recognize it anymore!! I plug it in, and it says something to the effect of "you have inserted a disk with no recognizable files..." and I click the ignore and leave disk inserted button. (There is also an eject, and an initialize button, but I don't know what that is) How can I get my computer to find the iriver??

OK, I guess that didn't make sense at all, to anyone but me that is... so here it goes again..
I took my IHP-140 to my friend's PC, where I erased all of the songs of of it (the ihp)
Then, later, I went home and attached it to my ibook, which is where the music is from originally. But when I plugged it in, it did not recognize it as an external hard drive like it usually does.
A window pops up saying something like "you have inserted a disk with no recognizable files" with the options to "ignore and leave disk inserted" "eject", or "initialize".
I don't know what initialize is, and so I press ignore. And that's it, I can't find it on my Ibook at all, so I have no way to load my music back on to it.
Does that make any more sense? Thanks for your help-
you ATTACHED it how??
Router with the Network connect?
a Par cable to Par cable Null modem?
Modem to modem?
USB to USB, hopfully threw a router?
When asked ti iniatize its ASKING you do you want to CONNECT..
IGNORE means..forget it..
Eject means DISCONNECT...
