I was just browsing a few site son Alexia, and thought i would run a few sites that were in my saved on my browser

Link to Alexia page ( http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?&compare_sites=&y=r&q=&url=www.designtechnica.com)
I must say that i was surprised to see the high volume of traffic recorded by then for Designtech omg: .
Now I know Alexia is far from perfect when implementing its algorithms

i was also suprised when i decided to compare this site twith Techworthy dot com after seeing the Astronomical numbers being pulled in here. This is what i got
http://traffic.alexa.com/graph?w=379&h=216&r=6m&y=r&u=designtechnica.com/&u=www.techworthy.com :cheers hard to believe since techworthy has its own mag and not an EBook one either a real paper Mag on the stands, whic i' sure you all know "PCupgrade". If these graphics are true GODS DAMNSZZZZ :rock :P

Thanks for the compliment. I noticed we also beat Sound and Vision Magazine http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=soundandvisionmag.com

and Audio Video Revolution: http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?q=&url=www.audiorevolution.com/

We still have a ways to go if we want to compete with Toms Hardware, Anandtech and others though.

This site is great.
its straight forward, and there are Cons, to the pro side. Nothing is PLAYED up.
We debate what really works. And why something should be thrown away.
NO SPAM...No popups, unders, or sideways..Nothing loaded on my machine after visiting the site. ITS clean.
NO personal attacks... But some GOOD debates...
Finding what you want is easy. And the site gets hits all over google.

Only down side is that the site has 3000+ people signed up, and about 10 of us posting. Lots of ppl looking at what has been done, and most dont comment..NEED input.
Give then some ideas on what to look at and compare...

Holy schnikies! Rock on kids!

I wish there were more ppl posting on the forums, too, but nowadays EVERYONE has forums, and the fact that they're as strong as they are is a testament to the site. Other sites you see 5000 threads started and not a single reply. Here at least ppl talk!

True NK,
I try to view the subjects on the front page, and see if I can help, AND I try to keep a subject going, until we can get someone with knowledge, to post..

Its amazing how many come just to read the site, but dont join.

If this site could Double its Views, it could out rank alot of sites.

Yeh, but how yah gunna do that?

I say you guys have to tap intio the music realm of the web to gain a dedicated folowing on the forum part of the site. True there is a ton of misic sites already out there, but that is not where you would stand to gain. By affiliation or hostile takeover u guys @ DT would be able to connect to the Music heads :vivi and show what this place has to offer :cheers.

Basically i am saying that reviewing new Cd's or Music DVD's of all the band footage in the DT entertainment section woulnd't be a bad idea. The idea is to make or convert a userbase when the competition is few :doh

check something i found i wonder if websites even know about this since i have onley scene 1 with the "Score" link back.
