Any word on what the new Palm Pilots or HAndspring Visors will have for technology? In my opinion, the Motorola Dragon Ball processors are just way to slow and cannot compete with the faster, more powerful Strong Arm CPU's. So what features will the new hand helds have?

I think that companies like Handspring or Palm need to focus on integrating or lisencing their technology to mobile phone manufacturers. I think that in a few years, the PDA will be a thing of the past and that more sphisticated cell phones will wind up replacing them.

or, will cell phones become a thing of the past as more and more PDAs replace them.

Or will Palm and Handspring turn into cell phone/pds combo manufacturers?

maybe handspring will go out of business, and Palm will sell its OS to Sony, which will then monopolize the system in an attempt to compete with Microsoft; eventually winning and driving MS out of the PDA sector forever. Signaling an eventual spiral into impunity for the once great MS giant, and the rise of the theocratic nation of Sony.

Only the Kraft Konglomerate will be able to stop the machine, Sony.

So buy up that mac & cheese!

Haha, your post is actually very plausible in my opinion. I could actually see Sony doing this. They have never been a huge supporter of Microsoft.
