So today, I found that my hdd120's screen was cracked. :( I probably bumped into a desk while it was in my pocket...
Does anybody know if I can get this repaired? The warranty doesn't cover it because it says that it excludes accidents that are out of Philips' control.
Is there some place where I can order this specific part and repair it myself?
Mailing it to Philips would be my last resort, but if I were to mail it, would I mail it to the US location or UK?
And while I'm on the subject of cracked screens... Does anybody know of any place where I can order a case for the hdd120? (It's probably highly unlikely to find out but it's worth a shot.)
And this just came into mind:
The headphone jack is kind of messed up. If I push it towards the back of the mp3 player a bit, the left side of my headphone doesn't work. But if I pull it to the front, it comes back. This can get really annoying and I'm sure that the warranty can cover this at least. So my question is, I don't have a proof of purchase that the warranty requires. But I ordered it from Amazon and there's a transaction history. Do you think that they would accept that as a proof of purchase?
