I just ordered a Philips HDD100 MP3 player for approx. 140 Euros. Unfortunately I found this forum after I had ordered it. Do you all know if all the bugs have been fixed? What is the latest uppgrade firm ware and programme manager called/numbered? Should I cancel my order and buy something else? Please help. Thanks in advance.
Raj.

To be fair, none of the bugs seem like serious ones (to me anyway). It's just the "pausing" bug where the music pauses momentarily every so often which is still in the latest firmware. As to cancelling the order? If you want a more up-to-date (and probably smaller mp3 player) then I'm sure there's some other better ones out there. But there's not much wrong with the HDD100 in the first place, and €140 seems a good price.

Yes......I would say it's a mistake. I bought the HDD120 and although it's not completely useless you could definitely get much much better.

The bugs don't tend to be serious but they are still extremely irritating and can prove time consuming when trying to sort them out.

dude, here's my two cents

i'm quite happy with my hdd100
i feed it through hddtool
i edit tags with the godfather
and i listen to it all the time

just don't use the DMM software
and you'll be happy ever after

take care and enjoy your player!
