"Sometimes, companies -- and people -- don't realize they already have a perfect situation. They feel compelled to try to make it 'better.' But by doing so, they actually water down the quality and image and turn the product into something much less than perfect. My advice to Apple: Don't mess with a good thing."

I am not so sure though, Apple is not adding a whole new product to the line, just replacing the current iPod with one that happens to have video playback. I still think its main focus will be music.

But,
doesnt a video display nock down the time a product can be used, even with increased battery power, it will probably be about 1/4 of its regular time, currently.
then comes the idea of HOW BIG is the video. Bigger is better, and you dont have to squint.
Then Options..
Got a site, with info??

But aczually that IS the problem! If they added video ipod to the product line, normal ipod would still be available! But by doing this they force people who want ipod to buy video ipod. And some of them who perhaps had older versions of ipod won't like this bigger model, and would acctually be more satisfied with "normal" ipod that they were used to, but with few new features....
