subs for a hifonics boltar xi

i dont know alot about this stuff....

i have a hifonics boltar amp(real power like 1000rms@2/4 ohms mono)

i blew my jbl w12gti

i want to upgrade ...

i can get orion 15'' h2's(4ohms) for 199 shipped each on ebay

i was thinking about getting two of them

what i need to know is....will two of these be compatible with my amp(at mono my amp will not accept a 1ohm load!!)only 2 or 4

will i have enough power to make them sound good(i do not want to press my luck)

any advice will help....

sound good??
With that much power you could blow up Afghanistan.
Whats the MAX output, NOT the RMS...
Take the MAX output, and Half it...
Then for the Best(IMO) rating DOUBLE the speaker MAX Rating.
1000 watts max= 2000watts max on the speaker. This way you wont blow them, and they wont distort.
