I think it VERY entertaining, that so many sites have gift guides BACK to 2002 and 2003....
dont these site EVER clean themselves UP...

You have to take Gift Guides with a grain of salt. Most of the time the ones guiding you haven't even actually tried all of the products they are recommending.

But we did on a lot of the ones we recommended. We made sure to link to the reviews. Honestly, I think ours is pretty darn good.

BTW we asked all of the editors to recommend products based on what they have experience with. So you can rest assured that someone here has used it!

Sorry, I should have mentiioned in my post that I have not yet read the Designtechnica gift guide. Replying here probably would make someone assume that I had. I was referring to my experience with gift guides in general. I just have never been a big fan of them as often it seems the magazines, websites or whatever just look at manufacturer spec's and literature to decide what's "cool".
