Difficulty Setting on Ninja Gaiden Black?

Just bought this game for the Xbox (playing it on the Xbox 360) and for the life of me cannot figure out how to change the difficulty setting. This game is unbelievably hard! if you know how, please post!

You know what? I best the software emulation on th Xbox 360 has taken out all of those options and modes, I jut don't see them!

I think you have to die alot on the first level and they ask you, look it up though
