lock memos

i have a treo 650. I use outlook to sncronize it. i am always worried because i hear all these identity theft stories and i keep everything in it, i mean everything in it. I want to lock the memos that contain important info, but not all memos. If i lock all memos, it just gets annoying to look something up.

I dont have this unit, but I dont think its possible.
The basic Idea of a virus/spybot is that you have to START it.
Its like a link or small program sent to you. Once started, it will do its thing.

Something to consider:
Speed, and access time, MEAN alot.
Someone with a 56k phone modem, will see MAJOR slow downs when something happens.
Someone with High speed Access, may not even notice it.

Also something to watch, is responce times.. Like watching your computer START.
If it Takes longer to start, or Give you access(not connecting, but TALKING to the unit/ISP/whatever), something may be happening.

Odds are, that you SHOULDNT have problems with Bots or virus.
BUT, remember 1 thing...ALWAYS backup your information SOMEPLACE ELSE. Loss/damage/theft, will make you so upset...Its worth the time to backup the data.

A thought: I couldnt find a listing, as to, the OS.
Can you create New directorie in the memo section?
Like:
friends
family
Business
Immediate...
And can you LOCK 1 section..

You could ALSO, copy the memo, to note pad, and set the attributes as READ ONLY??

i dont mean lock memos on the computer, im not as worried about somebody stealing my computer as i am my cell phone (computer is xp). often, i will find that my phone has fallen out of its clip, so far i have been luckey and always found it. ill try to lock the catagorys, though
