Saw this movie last night. I thought it was fantastic. I have a friend that is strict Republican and he was complaining about how it made the U.S. look bad, but I really thought the movie did a good job showing the point of view from all sides.
The U.S. wanting to control the oil to keep it out of China's hands, the bad Prince that only cares about himself and his material items, the good Prince that wants to sell the oil to the Chinese (highest bidder) so he can rebuild his countries economy etc.
There is of course more to the movie that that little bit, but in any case, it is worth watching!

I have seen King Kong and I can say that he still has that old charisma in him. I love the fighting scenes and the special effects. I simply love it!
I am also looking forward to see Sariana. Maybe tom. :)

Syriana was a great movie, its right in my interest zone since Im an Arabic/Near Eastern Studies major.
And King Kong was the shizt. Those bugs were nasty though, GYAH. I squirmed when that scene was on.

Yeh George Clooney won at the Golden Globes for this movie so it must be pretty good lol.
KING KONG didn't do that well in the theaters as they expected when you think about what they paid for in production. Probably has alot to do with Narnia taking away some of its steem. DUNNO?
Ps. thats a unique major there Archon, what do you plan to do with it may i ask?

Yeah, Clooney is my man (don't I wish, haha).
We are going to see Narnia tonight, it's way overdue, and will hopefully catch Syriana on Sunday.
I hear the best thing about King Kong is the sets--can't see that they've done anything new to the actual story lol.
