I'm currently having the problem with YP-55 where it keeps telling me that I need to re-format it, while not letting me re-format in windows.
I did some research and found that I may need to update the firmware, so I found the 7.3 version somewhere (forgot the address). That package came with an installer which is akin to the one you get off the CD. From what I can tell, it's reputable (The entire website was dedicated to Yepp firmware).
So my problem is that, the installer can't seem to detect my MP3 Player. I've entered it in under Recovery Mode, but no dice. I can't find anyone who's had the same problem either. Anyone know what to do about this?
Here's potentially relevant information:
- Using Windows XP
- I lost the installation CD, and have a feeling that I never actually installed it.
Thanks in advance.
